The Ho Family

Jarry, Mary, and their lovely daughter, Madee take a moment to relax at the Modern Art Museum.
Jarry, a Fort Worth native, attended All Saints’ Episcopal School while Mary grew up in Dallas. The two were college sweethearts at Texas A&M University, and tied the knot in 2006.
Upon graduation, they moved back to Fort Worth to carry on the family legacy as owners of Tokyo Cafe. Jarry’s parents originally founded this popular Westside Asian eatery.
After traveling to Japan, they were so inspired by the country’s izakaya-style gastro pubs; they decided to create their own. In May 2011, they unveiled Shinjuku Station — named after the world’s busiest train station.
Located on Fort Worth’s eclectic Magnolia Avenue, Shinjuku Station features modern Japanese fare, small izakaya-style dishes and sushi. The concept has been so well received that Texas Monthly named it one of their “Top 10 New Restaurants”.
Today, the couple stays busy between running two successful restaurants and spending time with their
growing family.
